This Privacy Policy describes how Avelon Motion (“Data Controller”, “we”, “us”) processes personal data on the avelonmotion.com website, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and, where applicable, Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on the Right to Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information (Infotv.).

2. Personal Data Processed & Purpose
2.1 Contact Form

- Purpose: responding to your inquiry and preparing a quote
- Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a))
- Retention period: 1 year from closure of the business relationship, or until consent is withdrawn

- Purpose: ensuring secure and correct operation of the website, debugging

3. Data Transfers & Processors
We use the following data processors:
- Hosting (Vercel Inc., USA): website infrastructure. Transfer is lawful under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- Email provider (e.g. Resend / Google Workspace): delivery of contact form submissions to us.
- CDN / media (Cloudinary Inc., USA): serving images and media. Lawful under the Data Privacy Framework.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may disclose data where required by law.
4. Your Rights
Under GDPR Chapter III, you have the following rights:
- Right of access (Art. 15): obtain confirmation of and access to your data.
- Right to rectification (Art. 16): request correction of inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure / “right to be forgotten” (Art. 17): request deletion when the processing purpose no longer applies.
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18): request restricted processing in specific circumstances.
- Right to data portability (Art. 20): receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Right to object (Art. 21): object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Right to withdraw consent: you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures (HTTPS encryption, access controls, regular security reviews) to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure and destruction (GDPR Art. 32).
7. Automated Decision-Making & Profiling
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling based solely on automated processing.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy. Any changes take effect upon publication on our website. For material changes we will notify affected individuals by email where we hold a contact address.
